Day of Arrival
Sunday, August 11th
All attendees are encouraged to fly into San Diego International Airport where our Airport Shuttles will take you North to Carlsbad, CA. Each bus will have the community JS logo clearly displayed on the bus, so be sure to look for that! If you find a bus with the @horse_js logo, we have no idea where that bus will go and leave it up to the reader to decide their own course of action. If you are close enough to drive and are not parking overnight, hotel parking is free. Check-in to the hotel, pre-register for the conference, get settled, and get ready for an amazing conference!
We'll be set up right next to the Hotel's front desk so that you can pre-register for the conference at your convenience. Is the hotel check-in line long? Come register! Is our registration line too long? Check-in to the hotel! Are both lines long? Hang out by the pool or go explore the hotel and come back later!
After a long day of travel, it is time to head to the lobby for an evening welcome reception and social gathering. Meet old friends, make new friends, and enjoy some fine refreshments and appetizers! You will need to be registered and have your JSConf US badge on your person. If you haven't registered yet, we will have staff on-hand available to get you checked-in!
Whether you just need a break from the dinner or are looking for deep conversation, stop by the evening campfires located on the upper-level of the Edge Pool. Grab a spot around the natural gas firepits and enjoy some enlightened conversation. Make plans with your fellow attendees for the next day, or plan your space mission to the moon and back!

What is the SitePen Track?
The SitePen Track includes a curated set of speakers that have submitted their proposals and have successfully made it through our selection process.
What is the HPE Track?
The alternative track for JSConf US is driven by people like you! We have a very unique format in that we let anyone register to speak in a first-come, first-speaking format. These talks are generally from the full range of web development and the world of JavaScript and are some of the most exciting talks at JSConf.

Our "Choose Your Own Adventure" day is what sets JSConf US apart from other conferences. It provides you with an extraordinary opportunity to socialize with the brightest minds in our community while providing a brief respite from the mind-bending material delivered during our talks. Activities are provided on a first come, first serve basis and registration details will be emailed to all registered attendees.

Day of Departure
Thursday, August 15th
Unfortunately, it's time to head home! Our Airport Shuttles will take you from the Omni La Costa directly to San Diego International Airport. Please make sure you leave enough time to board the bus, travel to the airport, check-in, and arrive at your boarding gate. We don't want any one stranded at the airport!
Come enjoy brunch food with everyone at JSConf as a final gathering. The internet can be a stressful place and programmers often make it worse, but here at Brunch.js you can hang out with some of the best and brightest and have a wonderful conversation over pancakes. Plan the rest of your day, show off some Node(Rocket|Bot|Boat) moves, or just discuss modules; whatever your final goals, the key is finish out the event happily.
